- Exhibits: The Huarte Centre centres its sight on exhibiting those artists located on the, or termed “border”.  Artists with their own language who begin to capture national or international attention in any of the activities that constitute the Centre’s activities. The exhibits’ annual programme is carried out over 3 four-month periods: October-January, February-May and June-September. To consult Huarte Centre’s exhibit programme visit the “Exhibits” menu.

- Platform Hall: This space destined to emerging artists will have an independent programme dedicated to showing principally work by artists from Navarra, but also, national and international.  Thus, a maximum of 6 exhibits per year will be carried out in the Platform Hall. No matter which creative language is used, the means of expression they use or the way of demonstrating them; this is a space to enrich dialogue with other artists, comparing it to the different ways of looking and expressing oneself in the common language of Contemporary Art.

Education activities (conferences, symposiums, workshops, etc.): As part of its programming, the Centre offers different learning activities to answer the various unknown factors and ideas that are developing in today’s society.  Thus, in addition to conferences on key subjects and specific personalities, workshops that bring the teaching material closer and allow a discussion with artists and specialists in fields such as photography, video art, comics and new technologies will be carried out.

- Media Library: This space has been created to bring the public closer to the world of audiovisual and multimedia creation, as well as offering information and data through printed, video and sound archive material in the field of contemporary art. The media library is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

- Children’s teaching programmes: One of Huarte Centre’s objectives is to bring contemporary art closer to all publics. With this aim, a teaching programme has been developed to educate children and youth about, and through, art.  Thus, activities will be conducted such as: children and youth workshops with artists, an educational programme with the Andramari Zuri Public School of Huarte, children artistic fortnights and guided tours of the Centre open to all schools in Navarra...

- Contemporary Music: The Huarte Centre emphasizes the different expressions of Performing Arts among its activities, among which contemporary music can be found.  For more information, please consult the “Activities” section.

- Performing Arts: The Huarte Centre emphasizes the different expressions of Performing Arts among its activities, among which contemporary dance and theatre can be found.  For more information, please consult the “Activities” section.

- Workshops for artists: One of the needs most demanded by artists from Navarra is the availability of spaces and workshops to produce their work, spaces that are practically nonexistent in the Autonomous Community.  The Huarte Centre’s objective is to create 5 spaces, through a soft rent, so that they can be occupied by the artists selected among the projects  presented in the artistic fields that define the Centre.

- Catalogues and other publications: Different publications to inform and spread the word on all the activities developed at the Centre will be published, as well as everything related with Contemporary Art.

- Cinema: The Huarte Centre intends to become the meeting and reference point in the field of cinema. Both experimental and documentary cinema, travel, independent, other areas or countries, animation, etc., will have a place in the Centre’s film programme.

- Poetry: The Centre will attempt to show poetry as an additional form of contemporary expression, for which several activities related to poetry will be organized. For more information, please consult the “Activities” section.

- Creation of an acquisition fund: Just as the very “cultural centre” name states, the Huarte Centre does not have its own collection, which is the case in many museums, but is fed by an ample temporary exhibit and activities programme. Yet, the Centre establishes as one more of its objectives, the acquisition of art works that adapt to the space and participate in the Centre’s own identity.

- Grant programme: 6 Grants will be awarded, destined mainly to artists from Navarra or residents in the Autonomous Community.  These grants will have an international characteristic and cover six categories: image (video and contemporary photography), plastic arts, performing arts (contemporary music, theatre and dance), art and new technologies, organizers, performance and installations.
