Accessibility

The pages of the www.centrohuarte.es website have been designed and revised in accordance with the guidelines defined in the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0' document, designed by the WAI workgroup belonging to the W3C.

The objective of these guidelines is to facilitate access to information offered on the internet to all citizens. Among the principal measures, the following have been adopted:

> Standards:
The language used for the contents and its structure is XHTML 1.0, and to provide the elements and present them graphically Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) have been used. All the pages have been validated as XHTML 1.0 and CSS 1.0.

> Images:
All images contain a brief description through the ALT attribute.

> Links:
All links contain a description through the title attribute.

> Text size:
The fonts used have relative dimensions, which permits the user to control its size from the web browser being used.

> Netsurfing:
The website provides coherent navigation maintaining the same structure in all its pages. This structure is composed by: * A horizontal navigation bar on the top part of the pages with links to the primary sections of the website. * A vertical navigation bar on the left side of some sections and fixed access to the common areas from the foot of the page. * A central area where the contents of the Website are shown.

> Design:
This website uses layers and cascading style sheets (CSS) for the pages' visual design. This way, the content is separate from the presentation and the users who desire can navigate through the information disabling the download of style sheets on their web browser.

> Level of accessibility:
The contents of www.centrohuarte.com, with the exception of the flashes, have been validated with the TAW and W3C Markup Validation Service. The level of accessibility achieved is A with a double A (AA) compliance in some regulations.
