Convocatoria de comunicaciones del Congreso Europeo de Estética
El Ministerio de Cultura de España en colaboración con el Departamento de Estética y Teoría de las Artes del la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, está organizando un Congreso Europeo de Estética que tendrá lugar en el Museo del Prado entre los días 10 y 12 de noviembre de este año 2010. El título del mismo será: “Sociedades en crisis. Europa y el concepto de Estética”.
Hemos abierto la convocatoria para la propuesta de comunicaciones y queremos hacerte llegar sus bases (que encontrarás como un archivo adjunto en este e-mail). Como verás en la convocatoria, los temas centrales del congreso son cinco:
1. Historia de la Estética / 2. Estética e historia del arte / 3. Dimensión política del arte / 4. Crisis, criterio, crítica / 5. Crisis del sistema artístico.
La fecha límite para dicha presentación es el 30 de julio.

The Ministry of Culture of Spain, in collaboration with the Department of Aesthetics and Art Theory of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is currently preparing a European Congress of Aesthetics that will take place at the Prado Museum (Madrid) between the 10th and the 12th of November 2010. The title of the congress will be: “Europe and the aesthetics concept. Societies in crisis”.
We have just opened the call for papers (found as an attachment to this e-mail). As you shall see the main subjects of the congress will be:
1. History of Aesthetics / 2. Aesthetics and the history of art / 3. Political dimension of art / 4. Crisis, criterion and criticism / 5. Crisis in the artistic system.
The deadline for such submissions is the 30th of July.
